Dr. Shrihari Anikhindi

  1. Invited as faculty to deliver a talk on “Screening and Surveillance in Colorectal Cancer” at the international conference on “Advances in Colorectal Cancer” organised by Christie NHS trust foundation, UK in collaboration with SGRH on 1st-2nd February 2020.
  2. Underwent training in Narrow Band Imaging and advanced endoscopy at Osaka International Cancer Institute, Osaka, Japan in November-December 2019 under Prof.Noriya Uedo who is considered the authority in this field. Selected for Kobe ESD workshop 2019, which is the most sought after platform for GI endoscopists around the world.
  3. Selected for a Training Fellowship in Neurogastroenterology & Motility by the Asian Neurogastroenterology & Motility Association (ANMA) held in Seoul, South Korea in April 2019.
  4. Paper titled “Biofeedback Therapy for Patients with Dyssynergic Defecation: Preliminary Experience from a Tertiary Center in North India” invited for Oral presentation at the 6th Biennial Congress of the Asian Neurogastroenterology and Motility Association in conjunction with the 2nd KSNM Education Program and 30th Annual Conference of the Korean Society of Neurogastroenterology and Motility held in Seoul, Korea from April 5 to 7, 2019. Awarded Travel Grant for the same.
  5. Paper titled “Biofeedback Therapy for Patients with Dyssynergic Defecation: Preliminary Experience from a Tertiary Center in North India” selected as Presidential Poster in 59th Annual Conference of Indian Society of Gastroenterology ISGCON 2018 held in Kochi, Kerala from 29th November-1st December 2018.
  6. Invited as faculty to deliver lecture on Clinical Applications of GI Motility Disorders at Eastern Chapter of Association of Physicians of India Conference (APICON) held in Silchar, Assam on 23rd December 2017.
  7. Invited as faculty IMA Chandigarh and Physicians Forum, Chandigarh to speak on “ 24 Hr pH Impedance Testing – Role in Clinical Practice” in Chandigarh on 25th November 2017.
  8. Invited as faculty to speak on Approach to Chronic Diarrhea in Uttarakhand Chapter of Association of Physicians of India Conference held in Haldwani on 29th October 2017.
  9. Poster titled “Correlation of transient elastography with hepatic venous pressure gradient in patients with cirrhotic portal hypertension: A study of 326 patients from India” selected for presentation at the International Liver Congress 2017 organized by the European Association for Study in Liver (EASL) held in Amsterdam, Netherlands on 19th-23rd April 2017.
  10. Awarded 2nd Prize in the Torrent Gastroenterology Young Scholar Award Program 2016 at North Zone Level held in New Delhi, India on 1st October 2016.
  11. Won the Best Orator Award at the National Grand Finale Round in Torrent Gastroenterology Young Scholar Award Program 2016 held on 15th October 2016 at Ahmedabad, India.
  12. Oral paper presentation on “A study on determinants of Cirrhotic Cardiomyopathy. Does severity of liver disease or portal pressure play a role?” at Asia Pacific Association of Study in Liver (APASL-STC) Conference held in Busan, South Korea on 8th-10th April 2016. Won Travel Award for the same.
  13. Same paper also selected for Poster presentation at United European Gastroenterology (UEG) Conference held at Barcelona, Spain from October 24-28th 2015 and presented at 23rd annual meeting of Indian National Association of Study in Liver (INASL) and Current Perspectives in Liver Disease (CPLD) Conference held in New Delhi from July 31st-August 2nd
  14. Presented poster on “Bedside Index for Severity in Acute Pancreatitis (BISAP) Score Best Predicts 120-day Mortality in Patients with Acute Pancreatitis: A Study on 358 Patients from a North Indian Center” at “The International Digestive Disease Forum (IDDF), Hong Kong” held from 6-7th June 2015. Won Travel Award for the same.
  15. Presented poster on “Polyflex Stenting In Esophageal Leaks and Fistulae : Our Experience” at 56th Annual Congress of the Indian Society of Gastroenterology (ISGCON) held in Indore from 19th-22nd November 2015.
  16. Presented poster on “Cirrhotic Fundal Variceal Bleeders have Lower Portal Pressure as Compared to Cirrhotic Esophageal Variceal Bleeders : a Comparative Analysis of 80 Patients” and Predictors of 90 Day Mortality in Severe Alcoholic Hepatitis : Experience With 85 Patients at a Tertiary Care Center” at 24th annual meeting of Indian National Association of Study in Liver (INASL) held in Delhi-NCR from 5th-7th August 2016.
